      Earn it

The Difference between Confidence & Arrogance

      · Confidence,Entrepreneurship

It’s okay to doubt yourself in the process… because it’s better to earn your confidence.

Earning it might mean mistakes, failures and accidents… which force a deeper questioning. And in that questioning and all that activity of earning it, we come to understand our selves, our craft and our world much more intimately.

BUT this learning happens all from the inside and out… in reverse… thru the negative space created by the “mistakes.”

Slowly and only with a calm, gentle, and kind perspective, we zoom out to see the whole picture… using the shadows to see the light, which is odd… as most of the time, as with most people, we simply focus on the objects IN the light… missing the entirety that encompasses the shadows.

It’s okay to doubt yourself in the process…

because it’s better to earn your confidence.

So in a strange way, the mistakes, failures and accidents brings our craft all together. This is the process of earning it, learning our skills, earning our results, earning our failures, earning our confidence which often starts with a whole lot of doubt…
