After 10 years of creative work at Let's Make Great! and several thousand posts on Instagram/ Wechat, why am I starting NOW??
The short answer is because I feel the need to. Writing is a must. It's a way for founders tp reflect on their business…… forcing one to slow down and to work through thoughts, strategy, and the successes and failures that we'll inevitably face. And for those of us without partners, advisors and strategic level collaborators... this is an absolutely critical part of managing our business.
This is relevant for me now, having moved from a partnership structure to a largely individual practice in 2020. Who is there to challenge me? Who is there to force me to think through strategy? Who is there to hold me accountable?

So that's the big lofty hope for this writing. I aim for it be differentiated from our other social media posts, making it more about our work as consultants, coaches and entrepreneurs. And in sharing this perspective, I hope it helps others going through similar challenges. I imagine this is also easier to read than scrolling through the thousands of posts on Instagram to find a relevant post.
As with everything, it's an experiment. Let's see what the results are?
